How Senior Transition Pros makes money
Providers pay, and families never do. Here is exactly what that means.
What’s free
- Everything for families: the guides, the shortlist and the matching.
- A basic profile for every listed provider. Claiming and verifying it is free, and it stays free.
What providers can pay for
- Founding Pro membership: $79 a month, locked for the first 12 months, cancel anytime. It adds featured placement on Senior Transition Pros and entry into the first Best of Atlanta: Senior Transitions awards cycle. It doesn’t change who we recommend to families.
- Introductions, later: we may charge providers a fee when a family chooses to share a request with them, in categories where the rules allow it. If we start, we’ll say so on this page first.
What money never buys
- A place on a family’s short list. Matches are based on what the family needs, credentials and reviews, whether or not a firm pays.
- A Verified badge. Badges come only from the checks described in how we verify.
- Reviews, ratings or awards. Those come from families and from our checks, never from payment.
- Your information. We never sell family data.
Rules that differ by category
- Aging life care managers are offered subscriptions and advertising only. We never charge them per lead or per referral, in keeping with the Aging Life Care Association’s code of ethics.
- Senior specialist realtors aren’t listed yet. Any real estate referral fee would have to run through a licensed Georgia brokerage, as state law requires. We’ll publish how that works before any realtor is listed.
