How we write our guides
Our guides reach families at hard moments, so we hold them to a simple standard: accurate, sourced, neutral and reviewed by a person.
Who writes them
Zach Peterson, the founder, is the author of every guide. AI tools help with research and first drafts. Zach reviews, edits and approves every guide before it’s published.
Expert reviewers
Where a guide covers a specialist’s work, we ask a practicing professional to review it, and we name them on the guide. If a reviewer is also listed on Senior Transition Pros, we say so. Reviewers aren’t paid.
Sources and numbers
- Every price and fact links to its source or says where it came from: published rates, interviews with Atlanta providers, or association data.
- Prices are shown as ranges, because real jobs vary.
- Anything estimated is labeled as an estimate.
Neutral by design
Our guides explain how to choose help. They don’t rank or recommend specific firms, and no firm can pay to appear in one.
Kept up to date
Every guide shows when it was last updated. We re-check prices in our cost guides every quarter.
Not professional advice
Our guides are general information for Georgia families, not legal, tax or financial advice. For probate, tax or benefits questions, talk to a Georgia attorney or another qualified professional.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email hello@seniortransitionpros.com. We’ll fix it and update the date on the guide.
